One Answer: Actually no one can compare any religion.

Both are same,

May be Hinduism is much more older than Buddhism,

In Hindu Puranas it was written that "Buddha" is one of the ten form of Lord Vishnu (known as "Dashavatar"). Actually the real name of Lord Buddha is Siddharth, who is belongs to a Hindu royal family. Both religion have many similarities and same motto of universal peace, brotherhood.

Edit: Srimad Bhagavat says there are 22/24 avatars of Vishnu, with 23rd being Lord Buddha. Popular nad imporatn ten are called dasaavatars. To avoid issues some have replaced Lord Buddha with Lord Balram (elder Brother of Krishna).

No one can say what religion is better for other people, but religions can be compared.

Hinduism tends to incorporate other religions into it, rather than competing against them; this is why Hinduism sees the Buddha as just a form of Lord Vishnu (this takes away his power as an independent thinker). Hinduism is a great religion that shares many terms with Buddhism but has an entirely different belief system. Hindus generally believe that knowledge of the "atman" (the eternal, changeless, separate self) will lead to the end of the rounds of rebirth, and eternal bliss.

The Buddha taught that if we go looking for this atman that we are supposed to come to know, what we will discover is that we can't find it anywhere. He suggested that freedom actually comes from knowing "anatman" (not-self). Buddhism stands alone as a religion that denies knowledge of any gods who have any great power in our lives -- deities in the oldest form of Buddhism were pitied because they were even more deluded than humans and the jokes at their expense were probably meant to suggest that there were no such gods at all (though later Buddhists sometimes take them literally). Buddhism teaches that liberation is in the individual's power alone -- no god and no one can do it for you.

Which religion is "better" depends on which you find more useful in your life.

Answer 1. in Hinduism nobody follow their rules.but in buddism they will follow each and every rule.they have punctuality in all.if u ask me,to which one u would like to vote means i will vote for Buddhism.

Answer 3: the main goal of Life is not to follow rules, but to achieve moksha, which is possible with Hindu Dharma. Hinduism covers people with different temperaments. One does not need to follow one path, but adopt a path that suits his/her prakruti. There are many paths like Karma, Bhakti, Jnana and Yog. In this there are many divisions. Each one cna practice that suits ones nature. e.g. If mind calms down easily by chanting name of Shiva, then one can stick to chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya'. One does not need to chant 'Om Shri Ramachandraya Namah'.

A sadAchArI does not necessarily means jnani. i.e. a person of good moral conduct goes not mean he is Self Realized. Good conduct is just a process of purification and preparing mind for meditation, thereby qualifying it for receiving Jnana and grasping subtle truth. It is not and end, but meditating and realizing Brahman or having divine vision of God or being in union of God is the considered as supreme and final goal.

Hinduism - the most holistic entity imaginable:

Hinduism is the most holistic entity. It covers the entire spectrum of human thinking. All other religions use a just code of conduct. Most people can't even imagine the extent of Hinduism.

Even Hindu religion is just a part of Hinduism. Science too is a small part of Hinduism. Brahma, the Hindu god of creation is actually the god of invention.

One can use Hinduism to under Big Bang theory and a disease like Schizophrenia.

Hindu religion - the most unique religion:

Hindu religion was not started at any point of time and not by any human being. There is no code of conduct and obviously there is no one to impose it. It is a religion that has evolved by itself and is maintaining itself. Every Hindu god is just a mechanism of thinking and thus in Hinduism there is no code of conduct. However, for people who wish to use an eternal code of conduct, there are Codes of Conduct, thousands of years old.

Hinduism is meant for people who wish to live the entire spectrum of human life and be the masters of their fate.

Thus, Hinduism is a class apart and shouldn't be compared to any other religion, let alone Buddhism.
