Yes. And according to this Scripture, where 'the invisible God' is one with the Holy Spirit, and the 'who' is Jesus, you can see he is the firstborn.
Colossians.1.15. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Jesus is also, 'the firstborn from the dead', as this Scripture shows.
Colossians 1.18. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
The Holy Spirit comes into you when you first accept Jesus Christ as your only Lord and personal Savior. At the same exact moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, Master, and Savior (Acts 10:44-48).A person receives the Holy Spirit when they become a believer in Jesus Christ, that is entrusting their life to the lordship and the saving sacrifice of Jesus; this is being born again. There is actually no such thing as a believer in Jesus Christ who does not have the Holy Spirit. If someone claims to be a believer, but does not have the Holy Spirit then they are not truly a believer. Either they have created another "Jesus" for themselves, who is different to the Jesus of the true Gospel, or they simply don't believe in Jesus in the biblical sense, which is entrusting their life to the lordship and the saving sacrifice of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the free gift given by Jesus from God, his father, to all who put their trust in him.Although the Holy Spirit works on unbelievers, drawing them to Jesus, they do not actually receive him until they are truly repenting of (that is turning away from) their sinful ways and putting their faith in Jesus; trusting in his salvation and his lordship. When a person receives the Holy Spirit it will be evidence in their life as they will begin to naturally manifest the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) and also begin to detest things that are detestable to God, things they had once take pleasure in.
The Bible says that the Holy Spirit Came upon her.
As Jesus calls it - to be born again of the Holy Spirit and water, in baptism.
The holy ghost came in the new testament, in the book of Acts. The holy ghost was a comforter , in the place of Jesus for the disciples.
okay, its a weird concept to understand, i know. basically, you have to think of it in terms of whats called the "holy spirit". this is what causes the connection. "father, son, holy ghost". god is the holy spirit, and the holy spirit is thus god. they are a part of each other. the holy spirit is also jesus, and jesus the holy spirit. this in turn, means that god is jesus and jesus god. strange, but they are all interconnected... hope that helped
So says the Bible.A:Mary conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity. Read this account in Luke 1:34-35. "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God."
When you are baptized, you are being born again into the holy spirit
My country is in the Holy Bible. That is where Jesus was born. My country is in the Holy Bible. That is where Jesus was born.
There is a body. Jesus was born, died and rose again and bodily ascended into heaven. Here on earth he has left us the Holy Ghost, The Comforter, as he promised, the Holy Spirit that resides in all those that believe in him.
God and Jesus are the same being. They are in a trio with the Holy Spirit to form God. But God has existed since forever. He has no beginning, and He has no end.
Jesus is God...the second person in the Holy Trinity. God in the flesh. God took on humanity 2000 years ago when He was born into this world. He came to save His people from their sins, that was His mission. He died for your sins and mine so we can live. You must accept what He has done on your behalf. You must be "Born Again". See John 3:3. That is why He left heaven; took on flesh, died a horrible death, because He loves us all and wants all to be saved.
The Holy Spirit IS Jesus and God. ( the trinity ) After Jesus was resurrected, God sent the Holy Spirit down to Earth so that we may have a relationship with him again.Another Answer:The power that sustains all things emanates from the current God Family - Father and Son - and can come into all who follow Jesus - this is their Holy Spirit:Romans 8:9New King James Version (NKJV) 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
