Qur'an encourages man to do lawful business abiding to the principles of Islaam. There is a separate section related on how to do halaal business in the Book Da'aaim ul-Islaam by Saiyedna Qaazi No'maan Saheb (aq). This is the supreme book of the jurisprudence of Islaam for the Shi'a Isla'ili Taiyebi sect. Man is encouraged to earn his livelihood by doing hard work and sustain his family.
