Yes, he studied Theology. My answer: I think this is not correct answer. After much reading his theology I found out that he did not believe in Christian God, or, in any personal God at all. Yes, he was a clargyman, but he preached his own version of Christianity - religion withoud Jesus as second person of Trinity, Jesus without miracles, ressurection.... In Judaism, there is something called 39 categories of melakhahwhere there are 39 kinds of work that are prohibited. One of these include cooking. However, cooking is allowed in Christianity. Many of the Jewish customs are from very long ago many from their Holy Book, the Torah, while Christians get their beliefs from the Bible.
