Apostles spread Christianity through evangalisim, mouth and by healing.

Answer

The apostles, we are told, were filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. This gave them power and enthusiasm to begin spreading the word despite persecution and other major difficulties.

The spread was hastened also by the disciples moving out from Jerusalem. We know that Paul, after his conversion, founded many chuches in the Mediterranean area and ended up in Rome itself - as did Peter. Thomas, it is believed, went to India to evangelise. Philip traditionally went to Africa. James ended up in Spain. And the other James stayed in Jerusalem. So by dispersing across the Roman Empire and beyond, Christianity spread very quickly from just the few believers in 30AD to the thousands of believers just 20 years later, and tens of thousands by the end of the first century.
