Hymenaeus & Philetus (2 Timothy 2:17)
men erred in the scriptures
Read the book of "Acts" in The Bible
It is a book made by men, but with the inspiration of GOD. It is better than other Hindu scriptures that is just a myth, with all fake stories in it.
The Bereans.Acts 17:10-12 - Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men. [NKJV]
If one wants to benefit from the Bible he has to consider the whole Bible. Reading the entire Holy Scriptures is the best thing.
The two men whose sermons are recorded in Acts are Peter and Paul. James and John are significant figures in the New Testament, but their sermons are not specifically recorded in the Book of Acts.
The book of Acts identifies the acts of the Apostles of Christ. Its an excellent work which contains some of the most profound truths related to mankind. For instance; you will discover from Paul in chapter 17 and again in Colossians 2, a doctrine that has affected all mankind to this point - philosophy of men vis-à-vis 'the Unknown God' (as a storm worn smooth over time)...
In the Book of Acts, it is recorded that approximately 3,000 people were saved on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:41) and about 5,000 men were added to the believers shortly thereafter (Acts 4:4). Additionally, throughout the book, many more were converted through the preaching of the apostles, although specific numbers are not always given. The overall theme emphasizes the rapid growth of the early Christian church as many came to faith in Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul was almost ambushed by 40 men in Jerusalem. These men had taken a vow not to eat or drink until they had killed him. However, Paul's nephew learned of their plot and informed him, leading to a Roman commander escorting Paul safely out of the city. This event is detailed in the Book of Acts, specifically Acts 23:12-22.
Rom:15:4: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Mk:7:9: And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition Mt:15:9: But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 2Tm:3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Acts:17:11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts:17:2: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Acts:18:28: For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. Rom:1:2: (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
