To perform Asr (afternoon) Salah, first, ensure you are in a state of wudu (ablution). The prayer consists of four rakats (units), which are performed quietly. Begin with the Takbir (saying "Allahu Akbar"), recite Surah Al-Fatiha followed by another surah in each rak'ah, and complete the prayer with the Tashahhud and Tasleem (salutation).
