Sin has always been, the first record sin was Eve in the garden. God in giving us free-will always knew that we could sin at anytime. Therefore, sin was has always been.

The word Sin means to "error against God".

Religion only has given us a structure of what sinners are...the Jews made laws and called the breaking the laws a "sin". In fact they are really just standards to live by.

Sin began before man was created. Lucifer, one of God's created archangels, who perverted the laws of God and became God's adversary, Satan, sinned first.

"...thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned..." (Ezek.28:15-16).

Eve, after her creation, met this perverted angel later in the Garden of Eden. He wasn't Lucifer by that time... he was: "...the Great Dragon... that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world..." (Rev.12:9).
