Halley's Bible Handbook "approximates" Abraham's timeline AROUND 2000B.C.. (Halley's Bible Handbook/with the King James Version: Classic Edition; p34 'IMPORTANT Old Testament DATES to fix in the memory')
Abraham's wife was Sarah. When she reached old age without children, she urged Abraham to attempt to father a child with her servant, Hagar, in order to perpetuate his line. Abraham complied with Sarah's urging, and fathered Ishmael. Sarah later did give birth to Isaac, by Abraham. Some time after Sarah's death, Abraham remarried in his old age, to K'turah.
The Lord treated Abraham as a close friend, once again visiting him by the oaks of Mamre. God assured Abraham that his wife Sarah is about to conceive the promised son next year. Above all, such friendship is evident in the Lord's not hiding from Abraham what He is about to do to Sodom and Gomorrah, giving Abraham the opportunity to intercede for these wicked cities especially for his nephew Lot and his family.
Sarah was renamed by the Lord to Sarah.
Abraham Lincoln is the President who declared a day to give thanks to the Lord for all our blessings
Sarah, the wife of Abraham, is an Old Testament matriarch and generally not accorded the title of saint. That title is usually reserved for those who entered Heaven after the birth of Our Lord.
Abraham married Keturah after the death of Sarah.
Genesis 18:9-15 If you are question has to do with when the Lord told her she would have a child. she was eavesdropping at the entrance of the tent while the Lord was speaking with Abraham.
Sarah's thoughts on the matter are not recorded in scripture, so we do not know how she felt or what she thought. I'm not sure Abraham knew clearly what was going to happen. Abraham was simply obeying what he believed the Lord had told him. Scripture does tell us that Abraham was convinced God could and possibly would raise his son from the dead. The faith exhibited by both Abraham and Sarah was incredible. Which is why they are both listed in the book of Hebrews (Ch. 11) as heroes of the faith.
Nancy Lincoln gave birth to Sarah Lincoln shortly after marring Thomas Lincoln. The father of Sarah is unknown. Thomas Lincoln was castrated when he was 12 and was not the father of Sarah or Abraham. Sarah and Abraham were brother and sister and they were not married. Abraham and Sarah had the same mother, but different fathers. Abraham's father was Samuel Davis. Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd.
Sarah was barren
When Abraham was approximately 86 years old the Lord promised Abraham that he would have an heir, and that Abraham's descendants would be as numerous as the stars and to his descendants God would give them the land from the river of Egypt to the great river, Euphrates ( Genesis 15). This was a reassurance of the promise in Genesis 12. We know that about this same time period, Sarah told Abraham to go into her handmaid, Hagar, and that perhaps they might have an heir by her. This was a mistake. Ishmael was born from this union and about 14 years later a son, Isaac was born to Sarah and Abraham. Abraham was 100 years old (Genesis21:1-7.) Isaac was the son of promise.
Abraham and Sarah were still married at the time of Sarah's death. Sarah did have her own tent. It seems to have been a custom for people of wealth like Abraham and Sarah to have their own tents. We see also Jacob and his two wives Rachel and Leah) having separate tents.
