Actually, The King James Version is obviously not the most accurate because it is another translation. The most accurate Bible you could possiblely read in in the original language. For the New Testament, your best bet would most likely be to read a Greek text. If possible, a Hebrew or Aramaic text would be best.

For the Old Testament, you would have to go with the original language it was written in. Hebrew would have to be the language you read it in. Please note that nothing in English will be the best translation.

It is not the new world bible but rather it is actually called the New World Translation and it was created by the Jehovah's Witnesses and it is extremely inaccurate as they wrote to reflect their doctrine. It was also written by people who have no knowledge of the Greek or Hebrew language which means they cannot glean from the original texts which were written in Greek and Hebrew.

In fact the founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses was not able to read anything from the Greek or Hebrew languages and had to admit this in the court of law. See below related link.

The original Hebrew and Greek texts were just fine. If integrity of the original texts is to be maintained, then verses that use God as a proper name should not be translated in the NWT as 'a god' - lower case 'g'. God is God that is who He is and His name should be respected as such. There is at least one verse in the NWT which refers to the name Son in reference to Jesus as 'a son'. He is the Son of God so again, His name should be written as such. The NWT does not give credit where credit is due, and is not presenting God as He should be, and Jesus is not given proper place as the Messiah, our Lord and Savior and the only way to salvation.

ANOTHER OPINION No court case has ever been held regarding the translations (The New World Translation was produced in 1950 and 'Pastor' Russel, the individual mentioned in the link provided died in 1916) thus it would be impossible for the link to be regarding the NWT. The New World Translation was translated by linguistic scholars, experts in Greek and Hebrew who, rather than translate from existing translations, sought to produce a translation that reflected growth in the understanding of Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek (the original languages of the bible texts) and worked directly from the best existing manuscripts (texts) available at the time. As a work it has been recognised by scholars as an accurate and valuable translation.

Andover Newton Quarterly of January 1963 said: "The translation of the New Testament is evidence of the presence in the movement of scholars qualified to deal intelligently with the many problems of Biblical translation." While the NWT has met with a certain degree of critisism, due to its break with tradition its its rendering of certain verses, it has done so in order to respect the internal and linguistic integrity of the original texts: As Theologian C. Houtman explains regarding the unorthodoxy of the New WorldTranslation: "Various traditional translations of important terms from the original text have been discarded, apparently in order to arrive at the best possible understanding." Regarding the New World Translation of theChristian Greek Scriptures, Edgar J. Goodspeed, translator of the Greek "New Testament" in AnAmerican Translation, wrote in a letter dated December 8, 1950: "I am interested in the mission work of your people, and its world wide scope, and much pleased with the free, frank and vigorous translation. It exhibits a vast array of sound serious learning, as I can testify." Professor Benjamin Kedar, a Hebrew scholar in Israel, said in 1989: "In my linguistic research in connection with the Hebrew Bible and translations, I often refer to the English edition of what is known as the NewWorld Translation. In so doing, I find my feeling repeatedly confirmed that this work reflects an honest endeavor to achieve an understanding of the text that is as accurate as possible."
