I'm assuming that your question is asking, in all religions who choose to live secluded lives.

In the Catholic Faith there are those who are hermits who have chosen to live alone away from civilization. Nowadays some hermits live close by each other, but not with each other, just in case they need help, take ill, etc. There are also cloistered; nuns who live in a community together, but never go out into the world. Then there is the monastic life, which is the same as the above except these are called monks.

Some pagan religions have people who live similarly. They stay in their temples in prayer constantly, some choose also to live alone for religious purposes, and some refuse to be involved in worldly affairs by living strict lives.

I hope that answers your question. These are really the only religions that I know for sure that have people who live "secluded lives". It's possible that there are others who have chosen for their own personal reasons to live secluded lives as well.

Also, I should have mentioned above that pagans and Catholics also live secluded lives for different reasons as well. People of all kinds of faiths may do similar things, but not for the same reasons. For example, way back in the day, some pagans lived secluded lives because they were forced to, others voluntarily. Catholics have always voluntarily lived secluded lives, as the Church refuses to allow people who are being pressured or forced into it to live a secluded life. It must strictly be of that person's own free will or the monastery, convent, or hermitage will not and should not accept them.

Another opinion from our community:I do not think so, but have to admit that people who have a faith to hold on to seem to live more stable lives.
