Everett Ferguson (Backgrounds of Early Christianity) says that the historical background given the story is quite confused and obviously fictitious. Tobit is really no more than a character in a short story.
Tobit is a book in the Catholic bible.
It is Tobit.
As it is part of the bible , I do not think it will be there in Tobit.
In the Book of Tobit in the Bible, Tobit was blinded by bird droppings that fell into his eyes while he was sleeping outside.
The book of Tobit is not included in most non-Catholic versions of the Bible. The book would be included in the Apocrypha, which is normally included in the Catholic Bible.
Many books are missing from the bible. A number were omitted in the 4th century from the orthodox bible. The book of Tobit was not considered relevant for the KJV.

Esther is the seventeenth book in the Protestant Old Testament Bible and Tobit in the Catholic Old Testament.
Raphael is not mentioned in the canonical books of the Bible, but is in the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit. However the Book of Tobit is canonical to the bibles of the Catholics, the Eastern Orthodox, the Oriental Orthodox, The Assyrian Church, the Anglicans and others.... Also these religions also mention Raphael in revelations.
The Catholic Douay version of the Bible contains many Books that were removed by Martin Luther leading to what became the Protestant Bible(s). of which there are now many versions.
The Gospel of Thomas and many other gospels were ommited from the Bible. Also, the Book of Tobit, the Book of Judith, the Book of Esdras I and II, and many more.
