Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) who have been endowed in the Temple are generally buried in their temple clothes, which are white. (long sleeve dresses for the women or long sleeve shirts and pants for the men) Those who have not gone to the temple (including children) are often buried in white as well. White clothing is used as a symbol of purity and is more of a tradition than a requirement, as it is understandable that many bodies are too damaged to be clothed for a funeral, some nations or traditions require bodies to be creamated, or the death occurs in a situation (such as at sea) in which a formal funeral and burial is not possible.
Many devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called "Mormons") are buried in their temple clothing. Usually the temple clothing is put on after the open-casket portion of the funeral, but occassionally is put on before. This is because the temple clothing is considered extremely sacred. It is not discussed outside the celestial room of the temple and is not to be seen outside of the temple except in certain cases (like funerals). This cap is a part of the dead person's temple clothing, and Church members would be very offended if it were discussed disrespectfully.

Beyond showing respect for the body, there is no set doctrine about burial of the dead. By tradition most members of the faith are buried but there is no actual requirement to do so. Members who have made temple covenants (basically covenanting in an LDS Temple to obey the commandments and otherwise live according to the Gospel) are usually buried in white clothing and their graves dedicated by a member of the Church holding the Melchizedek (senior) priesthood as a final resting place of their body until the resurrection.
She was cremated. Her ashes were given to the family.
It is traditional for all Mormons to be buried in white, and some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) choose to be buried wearing their sacred Temple robes. These Temple robes include a white veil for a woman or a white hat for men. The woman's veil covers the top of the head and so may look somewhat like a hat when they are laying down in the casket. This is the only time that Mormons are permitted to show the sacred Temple clothing to anyone outside of the walls of the Temple. While it is acceptable to ask respectfully curious questions about the Temple clothing when you see it worn by the deceased at a funeral, please note that the clothing is considered extremely sacred and that Mormons will be extremely offended by any percieved mocking or irreverance. Some may also hesitate to answer any questions, because they don't want to speak of sacred things too lightly.

This is not a religious practice of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church). Mormons typically follow the burial customs of their nationality or culture. You wouldn't expect to see group graves among Mormons unless it was a mass burial or in nations where it is required due to the lack of space for burial plots. Most, if not all, Mormons are buried individually and not on top of each other.
It is a funerary temple, and is also called the Tikal Temple. The ruler Jasaw Chan K'awaii is buried within it.
Winter Quarters, Nebraska is a place where Mormons wintered over (and some stayed for a couple years) in preparation for the trek to Utah. While it was a welcome respite and was certainly better than walking across the plains in a blizzard, disease and sickness were rampant and many suffered from malnutrition or similar ailments such as scurvy. Many Mormons lost their lives at Winter Quarters and were buried in a cemetery near the modern day Winter Quarters Temple and Visitor Center maintained by the Church.
Hopefully no one. It is forbidden (by Jewish law) to bury there.
