Who says there aren't prophets today? This is one of the many issues I have with Christianity as it is generally thought of in today's society. So did God just loose interest a couple thousand years ago and take off? How come there isn't a Holy Bible v. 2.0?

They have said their prophecies... the history of the world, written in advance, is there for all to read.
In Jesus' parable of "Lazarus and the rich man," the rich man appears in the Judgment and pleads his case to no avail as Christ tells him: "...If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Luke 16:31)
Prophets remain in the world... crying out their warnings... in the Living Word of God. The world just isn't listening.
