I am but a humble servant with a simple answer to appease you sir. Thy Almighty Lord, Morgan Freeman, is a complicated man. And for these busy men, like Mittens, to not devout their fullest energy in service to thy Almighty being is understandable. Thou art just a human and can make these mistakes that Freeman would never make. Just keep in mind that Mittens is doing all that he possibly can to love thy God and not truly forsaken him.
My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me
It was not a "king" per say. Jesus asked while on the cross "Eli Eli Lama sabachthani" (please don't quote my spelling of that), which means My God My God, Why hast thou forsaken me.
"It is done." The more famous one, which is said before that is "Father, why hast thou forsaken me."
psalms 22:2אֵלִי אֵלִי, לָמָה עֲזַבְתָּנִיelí elí, lama azavtani
Make a joyful a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Psalms 100vs1 KJV
yes, he did. He said Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? which means: My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Leviticus 19:18, Thou shalt Love thy neighbours as thyself. Matthew 22:39, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Psalm 22:1, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Matthew 27:46, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
This account can be found at Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34, as was prophesied at Psalm 22:1 (Isaiah 53:10)
The expression "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" is borrowed from Psalm 22:1 in the Old Testament. Both the authors of Matthew and Mark quoted this verse in reference to Jesus' words on the cross during his crucifixion.
Matthew 27:46, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani, that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Mark 15:34, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani, which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Luke 23:46, "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." John 19:30, "It is finished."
Jesus last words from the cross were Father into your hand I omit my spirit..In Hebrew it is something like Eloi Eloi.AnswerAnd at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Mark 15:34. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Matthew 27:46.
God has not forsaken Mormons. The general population of the United States has forsaken God. He will not force to make good and honorable choices. Although it seems like we know what we need, God, who knows all, sometimes blesses us with prayers that go unanswered. He knows that growth and humility can come from struggle. He knows what needs to happen to prepare the world for the second comming of His Beloved Son. If all people were forced to make good choices, free agency would be lost, and the entire plan of salvation would be for naught. God will bring us peace in good times and in bad if we but humble ourselves before Him and draw nearer to Him.
