Why is it important to learn about Jesus in school?

A:The doctrine of separation of State and religion means that schools should not teach about Jesus from a Christian point of view. However, when schools teach about religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism as part of a comparative religions curriculum, it is important that they also teach about Jesus as part of a fair and balanced coverage.

Christianity is also one of the major elements of World History and understanding Jesus and the Christian perception of the Christ is critical to better understanding the underlying motivations for the Crusades, the Conquest of the Americas, the Enslavement of Africans, the relations between Europeans and Asians in the 15th-19th centuries and so on.

Life and death. God loved the world so much that he gave his only son that who ever believes in him shuold not go to eternal death, (perish), but have eternal life.

And so I say that the importance of Jesus' teaching is the importance between life (eternal) and death (eternal).
