I'm not sure if the question is speaking about the 'resurrection' in general; or if it's only about the resurrection of 1 person, Christ Jesus. So I will speak about the resurrection in general.

Everything in The Bible is CONNECTED to a common THEME, or PURPOSE.

It was Jehovah God's original PURPOSE to populate the earth with perfect, righteous mankind. Adam and Eve disrupted that purpose --- but only temporarily; since God announced right there in the Garden of Eden his determination to see his PURPOSE to completion, regardless of the temporary disruption. Jehovah would arrange for his only-begotten son to come to earth, to repurchase mankind back from bondage to Adam's sin which we inherited from him.

Since all mankind has inherited sin & DEATH from Adam, we WILL ALL DIE, sooner or later. If Jehovah did not change this dilemma, then it would indicate that God could not accomplish his original purpose. But instead God in his immediate wisdom, arranged for his son to undo all the effects of sin; and re-instate perfection and righteousness to those of mankind who would desire it.

But since many have already succumbed to DEATH - - God arranged for the sacrifice of Jesus to include even those who had died before he came to earth. Bingo --- the resurrection.

Therefore if the resurection would not happen - - then there would have been no need for Christ to come to earth. And if Jesus did not come to earth, then there would be no Christianity.

On the other hand, there would ALWAYS still be Jehovah's Witnesses - - because we are MORE THAN Christians. (Please see LINK below.)

When was the concept of resurrection included in Christianity doctrine?

The implication of the question is that the resurrection was somehow added as an additional doctrine. It must be stated very clearly. This is why so many people go to so much effort to disprove it, even if unsuccessful.

In Christianity, the phoenix is not specifically mentioned in the Bible. However, some Christians interpret the phoenix as a symbol of resurrection and eternal life, similar to the concept of Jesus Christ's resurrection. Did Jesus' resurrection deal Satan a fatal blow?

AnswerChristians, who believe in the resurrection of Jesus, also believe in the power of Satan. In Christian dogma, Satan seems to have sufferred in no way by the resurrection. Some would say that Christianity needs Satan, since without him, we would be entirely responsible for our own sins and our own redemption. The concept of almost helpless vulnerability has its converse in the need for a saviour.

If we want to identify one geographic location as "the birthplace of Christianity," it would have to be the town of Bethlehem in Judea, because that's where Jesus Christ was born. The "concept" of Christianity was born in heaven, where God planned the incarnation, suffering, death and resurrection of his Son and the creation of the church--all Christians. Bethlehem was a Jewish town in a Jewish country, and Jesus was a Jew.Canaan was a country with a long history as an enemy to the Jews. It cannot be called "the birthplace of Christianity."
