What an interesting choice of words! And I suppose it is very true! I was thinking about how He could have been a fence buster, and I think one way was that the Holy Spirit was poured out on both Gentiles and Jews, and the Gospel was taken to the Gentiles. God made us one in Jesus, the Christians who are Gentiles, and the Christians who are Jews.
Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit in Acts 5:3 when he kept back part of the proceeds from the sale of his property but claimed to have given the full amount.
There is no book in the Bible called the "Gospel of the Holy Spirit." The Gospels in the Bible are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which tell the story of Jesus' life and teachings. The Holy Spirit is mentioned throughout the New Testament as the third person of the Trinity.
The prophecy of the coming of the Holy Spirit is found in the Bible, specifically in the Book of Joel in the Old Testament and in the Book of Acts in the New Testament. The prophet Joel and Jesus Christ both spoke about the coming of the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and comfort believers.
Simon the sorcerer in the Bible wanted to buy the power of the Holy Spirit. He offered money to the Apostles Peter and John in the Book of Acts, hoping to obtain this power for himself. However, Peter rebuked him for his greed and told him that the gift of the Holy Spirit cannot be bought with money.
John's Gospel, which Elaine Pagels sees as containing an element of anti-Thomas narrative, has Thomas miss out on receiving the Holy Spirit. The Gospel says that Jesus met the disciples in an upper room in Jerusalem, with Thomas absent, and breathed on each of the disciples and gave them the Holy Spirit. He met the disciples again a few days later, when Jesus showed 'Doubting Thomas' his wounds, but did not give him the Holy Ghost. However, Acts of the Apostles was in a somewhat different tradition, in which the disciples clearly had not received the Holy Spirit before Jesus was taken up into heaven. In this story, all the disciples - Thomas included - received the Holy Spirit as tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost.
The book of Acts says they came in large numbers and got baptised in the holy spirit.
Acts is sometimes referred to as 'The Acts of the Holy Spirit.'

Actually The Holy Spirit was the gift. The gift was to be filled with the holy spirit as a comforter and a way to pray to GOD an pure, unselfish pray.Roman Catholic Answer: The above answer is correct. The Holy Spirit was the gift. St. Peter told them "Do penance and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38.
In the Book of Acts, the most important sign of salvation is the reception of the Holy Spirit. This is evidenced in several instances, such as during Pentecost when the apostles are filled with the Spirit and speak in tongues (Acts 2), and when Gentiles receive the Holy Spirit as a confirmation of their faith (Acts 10). The transformative power of the Holy Spirit in believers' lives signifies their acceptance into the community of faith and their new identity in Christ.
