Jesus was in a town called Capernaum. The house where he was staying was so packed full of visitors that there was not any room for one more person, not even outside the door. Jesus was preaching to them. Four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. They could not get to Jesus through the croud, so they dug through the clay roof above his head. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. Seeing there faith, Jesus healed the man. Mark 2:1-12
Mary and Martha were two sisters who were close friends of Jesus. They are mentioned in the New Testament, particularly in the story where Martha welcomes Jesus into her home while Mary sits at his feet listening to his teachings.
Saint Andrew was a disciple of John the Baptist who followed Jesus after hearing his teachings. Andrew met Jesus along with his brother Peter while they were fishing, and Jesus called them to become his disciples.
