Most minor, and major religions accept the fact that Nature is here to perpetuate human existence. Use in moderation. I am not including Christianity in the religious list, being a death cult. A combination of Judaism and Roman polytheology. Created to usurp a grassroots movement its symbol, an instrument used for capital punishment, (no top bar), was used by Rome to strike terror in Pagan hearts, during their conquest of Europe. Today it would be an electric chair, gas chamber or hypodermic needle. Add the top bar and you have a sword. "Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to was..." Pagans had their own harmonious, nature-friendly spiritual paths. To Christians nature, sex, your body, women, inedible animals, other humans who disagreed with their outlook were considered sinful. Sin was the name of a Sumerian god. I was reared a Lutheran and that was what I was taught, and I disagreed. Hence, I was excommunicated at age fifteen. No hard feelings. I was freed to find some REAL answers
No--look what happened when people tried to outlaw religion--followers cling onto it even more... Not a good idea; it will make you enemies that you don't need. Although removing religion from society has been tried before, it failed because some people don't want to give it up, some can't bear to be without the thought of an afterlife and some just can't think for themselves. Even if religion should be eliminated, doing so is impossible.
Yes, the word "Religion" should be capitalized when referring to specific religions or the concept of religion as a whole. For example, "Christianity is a prominent religion in the United States."
It really depends. If you mean that someone does not have any kind of beliefs then this is an Atheist. If however it is simply they do not agree with Christianity or buddhisim but do neither do they believe in nothing then they are Agnostic
A secularist is someone who believes in the separation of religion and state, advocating for a society where governmental decisions are made without influence from religious beliefs. They prioritize the importance of neutrality and equality in matters of governance and public policy.
Pretty much all of it. Religion may be important in history to show where civilizations got their beliefs off of, but now? It shouldn't be involved. Religion is a personal choice. You don't have to have one.
Daoism also spelled taoism believes that people should live in harmony with nature and that the government should not have much power. Legalism is it's opposite.
Jain
He believes the environment should be left in its natural state
Shinto believes that harmony in nature corresponds to a heirarchical relationship of natural powers and responsibilities. It has been blended with Confuscianism to emphasize that those in power have a responsibility to divine harmony, and therefore should be honored as divine agents. Although Shinto was practiced on a "folk" level of individual beliefs and prayers to individual ancestral spirits, it became organized as a state religion. In Imperial Japan, the Emperor was considered the head of the Shinto religion. Respect for the divine order of things evolved into a "my country right or wrong" loyalty to the Emperor.
Islam. All religions should.
As I perceive it, the essential function of religion is to provide the moral and ethical conditioning for the soul or consciousness. The function of Religion is required to be like mental exercises in virtuous or righteous consciousness, which should ultimately lead to the appropriate type of social conduct. The essential nature of religion is to cause the dedicated and selfless aspirant to become an instrument of divinity promoting harmony and balance throughout the universe.
Taoism preaches that humans should live in harmony with nature and seek equilibrium of the Yin and Yang forces. Its principles emphasize compassion, simplicity, and mindfulness in order to achieve balance and harmony in life.
Islam, Christianity, Jewism etc.
Emerson believes that individuals possess a unique inner genius or intuition that is connected with the divinity of nature. By following their own nature, people can tap into this inner wisdom and achieve self-reliance, creativity, and fulfillment.
