The founder of the Christian religion is often considered to be Jesus Christ. According to Christian belief, Jesus was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who lived in the 1st century in the region of ancient Judea. His teachings and the events of his life are central to the Christian faith.

God; the Creator; is the founder of Christianity religion. The Bible was revealed by God (and same God worshiped in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) to Jesus (peace be upon him) who was assigned by God to guide the Jews to the proper God right path and to allow them to eat some of what they forbid themselves to eat.

The term "Christian" was established at Antioch. Prior to the use of this term the first century followers of Christ were called "The Way". The founder of Christianity of course, was the son of God, ... Jesus Christ. We certainly must give some credit to Paul as a co-founder of the practice of Chistianity. His tireless efforts to bring Christianity to the non-Jewish world are responsible for the early and rapid spread of the religion throughout the world.
Christianity as a religion is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus is God Incarnate (this means that he is both fully God and fully Human- not that he was God 'morphed into a human body'). Jesus was a Jew, born to Jewish Parents, but Conceived by the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit. His teachings were radical, and upset many Jews at the time. Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah that the Jews were waiting for. Those who followed Jesus Christ's teachings included Jews who accepted Jesus's radical teachings, as well as converts from other religions. In time, these people were labelled 'Christians', followers of Jesus Christ. Therefore, it would be wrong to think of Jesus as meaning to 'found' a religion.
