It also lived in the mid to late Jurassic period throughout Europe. Liopleuradon was a short-necked plesiosaur. One of the other water dinosaurs that it ate, was the Ophthalmosaurus (OFF-THAL-MOH-SAW-RUS). It was a dolphin-like hunter.
