Morelia amethistina also known as an amethyst python is the largest snake in Australia. They are also found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. They have a milky purple sheen which is where they get their name.
The amethystine python is not know to be hunted or endangered.
can you please elaborate your question more?
Even for a python, gibbons are a bit too big.
reticulated python - 33 ft (record) burmese python - 18 ft African rock python - 19ft amethystine python - 25 (record) carpet python - 10ft
I think it would probably be the olive python with the scrub python being the largest
Nothing eats these highly aggressive snakes. Bacteria, vultures and fly larvae will eat a python that has died recently, but this big snake has no other predators.
a blood Python live is in asia
Although the retic. is the "longest" snake in the world, it does not mean that it doesn't have any competitors. Other snakes, such as Burmese, Indian python and the amethystine python are very similar in terms of their hunting methods and prey. I wouldn't want to run into any of these animals "WILD" and at full size......they would present a big problem!!
