YES IT WILL !
NEVER feed a reptile on food that is NOT part of their natural diet ! Apart from the fact that they would NEVER eat cheese in their normal life - cheese is full of FAT - which is just as bad for a gecko as it is for humans !
If you are able to get your leopard gecko to take interest into fruit, it is not detrimental to their health. In most cases a Leopard gecko will not take interest into fruits as they are not live, moving prey.
Although these animals usually are not aggressive, sometimes a leopard gecko can become aggitated through handling, breeding, or activity. They will usually warn before biting by making a hissing sound, if you are bite by one though, it will not hurt. Avoid handling a hissing leopard gecko, allow it to calm first.
No reptile truly becomes 'tame' - they 'learn' to tolerate being handled by people - in that they realise you're not going to hurt them.
Geckos are not poisonous at all, neither for humans nor for their prey. Only very few lizard species have a venom and of those, only the Gila monster and the Komodo dragon are dangerous to humans (although with an attacking Komodo, venom is the least of your worries).
When working with reptiles, there is always a chance of being bitten. Although the leopard gecko is a very docile species, if in distress or pain the animals first reaction is usually defensive. In the scenario of an animal being hurt or sick there is a possibility of blood being drawn. Again, typically this species is very docile and will not bite.
Fleece can potentially harm your leopard gecko if it poses a risk of ingestion or if it causes overheating, as fleece does not breathe well and can retain heat. Additionally, loose fibers may get caught in their toes or cause skin irritation. It's essential to ensure that any bedding or materials used in their habitat are safe, non-toxic, and suitable for their specific needs. Always monitor your gecko's health and behavior to ensure their environment is appropriate.
Let the skin shed on its own. The new skin has to form completely so the shedding may progress in stages. After shedding, the gecko will normally eat its skin to recover the remaining proteins.
I put a baby crawfish in my geckos tank and he's yet to eat it. Ide say its a bad idea because there crab - crustacean might hurt ur gecko.
You are only supposed to put them with other leopard geckos. Other types of lizards will try to hurt them, or the other way around. NEVER mix species unless (a) they're found naturally co-existing in the wild and (b) one species is not prey to the other!
no
Yes. Cheese will not hurt a dog.
If you want to breed them. Leopard geckos reach maturity at about 9 months old, and a male can have several females. Beginning about 3 to 4 weeks after mating, the female gecko will have a clutch of eggs, usually 2, that hatch in about 2 months. You would be advised to keep male geckos away from the eggs and the young hatchlings.
