If people receive a decent education they will obtain the qualifications that they need to go on to further education such as university and into the workplace. Education will improve literacy and numeracy skills which again will benefit people when applying for jobs. Furthermore, education will lead to well paid jobs which will then allow you to afford a nice house, car, holidays etc and you'll "escape" from poverty.
i believe so because if you are living in poverty, by receiving an education growing up you realize that whatever state that i was in whiles as a child when i grow up by receiving an education i can make life better for me and my family
The Great Society aimed to address poverty, racial injustice, and access to healthcare and education. It included initiatives such as Medicare, Medicaid, the Civil Rights Act, and the War on Poverty.
Poverty persists today due to a combination of factors such as lack of access to education, healthcare, and job opportunities, as well as systemic issues like income inequality and discrimination. Additionally, economic downturns, natural disasters, and political instability can exacerbate poverty levels. Efforts to address poverty require comprehensive solutions that address these root causes.

Poverty and education are closely linked because each one has a strong influence on the other. Poverty often limits access to quality education due to financial constraints, lack of resources, and limited opportunities for proper schooling. Children from low-income families may face challenges such as insufficient learning materials, unstable learning environments, or the need to support their families instead of attending school regularly. At the same time, education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty. When individuals receive proper education, they are more likely to gain skills, secure better employment, and improve their standard of living. In many communities, Goodworks Trust works to bridge this gap by supporting educational access for underprivileged children, helping them build a foundation that can lead to long-term social and economic improvement.
Education would help poverty because the more education you have, the more likely you'll be to go to college, and after college get a job. If more people had jobs there would be less people in poverty.
