Mice are very hard to train, but this is how you teach a rat to do it. Place a treat on a table (your training ground, it's safest) put the marble on top of treat. Mouse should nudge the ball to get the treat. Continue to do this in short sessions(five to ten minutes) everday about twice a day. Eventually do not leave a treat under the marble. When the mouse nudges the marble you then hand him the treat. When he's used to that, hold out on giving him the treat until he's nudged the marble hard enough to your satisfaction. Thusly you have now trained a mouse to nudge a marble, which can be turned into a Bowling trick, or soccer, or a fetch trick. A tip: when the mouse does this repeatedly it's recommended with rats that you don't give them a treat everytime, so they won't deceide the effort isn't worth a treat they're bored with. This might be applied for mice as well.

Well, they already know how to swim, so the first half is done. Next, you need a surf board, but a really small one. If you can't find one, you can make one from Styrofoam and cloth. Cut the Styrofoam into the shape of a surfboard, and then put cloth over it and staple it into place. The cloth is optional. After you have your surfboard, you need to teach you mouse to stay on it. Hold it up and put the mouse on it, and if it tries to get off, just put your hand in front of it. when it gets the idea, fill a bathtub with warm water, but not too warm. Put the surfboard in the water, and put the mouse on it. The mouse may try to get off, but it does know how to swim. Still try to keep it on. when the mouse knows to stay on it while it is in the water, start to make tiny waves with your hand. If your mouse falls off, take it and put it on it's surfboard. This will teach a mouse to stay on the surfboard while waves are coming, and it will teach it to come back to it's own surfboard when it falls off.
