Yet in the question you use the term "addictive". The only thing I can see as possibly being "addictive" about being gay is the sex and if you're addicted to gay sex, even if you could "quit" being gay and were made straight (which you can't), you'd most likely be addicted to straight sex.

I say fortunately because this means there's a fairly decent chance you can look up a sex addiction group in your area where others much like you talk about the urge to go find partners, what it is about the process that seems to draw you, what you can do to modify this activity and reduce your urge to feed it.
