An important national issue facing our generation and the people of today in society is racism. This issue has become so common that at least every individual has faced it in their daily lives at least once or twice very often. Racism is prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on a stereotype or belief. Basically it could also be defined as hatred towards a certain group of people for the way they act , pray , eat and live. Racism is an issue that has overtaken the minds of people to a point in which they have killed people as well for what they believe in. It is killing all of humanity mentally all over the world in places like Africa , Afghanistan, India and Pakistan where people are being killed for being Muslim , Hindu or Christian. This is because people believe that their own religion is more superior than the others and that everyone should convert and believe in what they do or they do not deserve to live and be persecuted or tortured until they don't change their minds.
Take this for example;
"This is the sum of duty: do not do to others what would cause pain if done to you" Mahabharata 5:15:17. This quote represents Hinduism on the golden rule, it basically means that do not hurt others or treat them in a way that you would not like to be treated. If you would like to gain respect you should respect them as well. One important concept from Hinduism is Ahimsa which is the idea of non-violence. Issues regarding one's true identity prejudice and negative discrimination.
Let's look at some facts here, shall we?
Three important statistics and facts about racism against Hindus :
There were 8.8 million Hindus in Pakistan in 1951. Now, there are less than 1 million Hindus only. They are not converted; they are butchered to the present level. In 1951, Hindus constituted 22 percentage of the Pakistani population.
In 2006, the last Hindu temple in Lahore was destroyed to pave the way for construction of a multi-storied commercial building. When reporters from Pakistan-based newspaper Dawn tried to cover the incident, they were accosted by the henchmen of the property developer, who denied that a Hindu temple existed at the site.
Approximately nine percent of the population of Malaysia are Tamil Indians, of whom nearly 90 percent are practising Hindus. Indian settlers came to Malaysia from Tamil Nadu in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Between April to May 2006, several Hindu temples were demolished by city hall authorities in the country, accompanied by violence against Hindus.[131] On 21 April 2006, the Malaimel Sri Selva Kaliamman Temple in Kuala Lumpur was reduced to rubble after the city hall sent in bulldozers.
On 2 January 2012 in the USA a Hindu worship center in New York City was fire-bombed.
Conclusion: Taking a look at each picture closely and just taking in what has come of humanity it's honestly so depressing and heartbreaking. It seems as if hate has overcome love and the minds of people and has corrupted people to an extent where they have become so heartless , killing people is nothing to them. It is a famous quote in Islam that goes " killing one person is as if you have killed all of humanity" and here many millions of Hindus have been and are being killed just because of their beliefs. This racism needs to stop and a change has to be brought because no one deserves this. It's unfair to lose loved ones and live a life full of sorrows. Racism is one of the many issues that is corrupting society and our generation minds. If racism didn't exist in this world there would only be place love and peace than our world would be perfect.

There are only two types (overt and covert), but there are different motivations and levels of application. Overt racists are your basic skinhead, Stormfront types. There is no real logic to their hate, so debating them is useless. They don't try to hide their opinions and they tend to be fanatical. They apply their racism heavily, almost to the point of being obsessed. Examples: KKK, Aryan Nation. Covert racists are your "hidden haters" who tend to act based on stereotypes and misconceptions. These racists don't consider themselves to be destructive with their beliefs, and thus feel comfortable with their biases. If you point out their racism to them, they usually admit to it, but they don't abandon their convictions. They do not apply their racism heavily, per se, but again, they are steadfast with their convictions. Examples: The landlord who won't rent to *fill in the race*. The parents who disapprove their daughter's interracial love interest. Motivations are where things get complicated. You have some people who are motivated by how they were raised (racists parents), some by what they've experienced (abused in school by *fill in the race*), some by not being around certain groups enough (raised around this race, but not that race), some by fear of crime (mugged by *fill in the race*), some by being influenced by white superiority or a desire to adhere to the white mainstream ("white is right" mindset). The aforementioned tend to apply their racism heavily and consistently. Many people are racially critical, but not racist, yet they are confused for being racist. They rightfully point out negative aspects of a given racial demographic, but they don't harbor any fixed mindset against a given group. You have people whom are selective racist, where as they target only one race specifically. Others are bandwagon racists who just go along with racist ideologies just to belong to a group. These groups tend to apply their racism passively. Some people are racial antagonizers who attain satisfaction from negative feedback to their racist quips (blog racists and flamers). Some people are religious or "natural way" racists who subscribe to ideologies based on their belief that mother nature, or their perception of God, supports their contentions. A good number of people are situational racists/bigots. These people tend to react with racism as a bi-product of some actual or perceived wrong done onto them. Their racism tends to only come out when they are angered. Bottom line, racism is prevalent, and we all indulge in it from time to time. It all comes down to how you choose to apply it.
