If you're looking for personal case studies then here's mine.
I have a yet undiagnosed chronic illness. The doctors flit between lupus and viral meningitis. It causes extreme fatigue, joint pain, migraines, dizziness, anaemia, Back pain, heart palpitations, temperature swoops and rises and disorientation. I am a teenager and whilst some ( my boyfriend and best friends) are every understanding and supportive, some (my old friends, more distant friends) are not at all. People cannot seem to grasp non-visual illnesses and this can make it very difficult to explain that I am unable to partake in things. My fatigue also causes me to literally sleep sometimes-omethign which many youthful, vibrant teens find hard to deal with. It is very restrictive in the teenage society and has a huge impact socially. Hope I helped.

This perspective emphasizes that health can fluctuate over time, with individuals experiencing varying degrees of wellness or illness. Recognizing health as a continuum encourages proactive self-care and awareness, as well as the understanding that improvements or declines can occur gradually. It highlights the importance of holistic approaches to health that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
