How is technology helping to decrease poverty?

Technology is the physical devises of technical performance. It is marked by number of classes for different purposes such as medical services, household appliance, transportation and internet access also helps to get agricultural and educational information to villagers. To remove poverty majority of private and government companies of poor countries are actively participating to increase Information and Communication Technology in rural areas.

There's different ways to look at poverty.

First, you can define it as the absolute satisfaction of basic needs. For example, one could argue, that a king in the middle ages was poorer than the average American today, because he did not have access to supermarkets, air conditioning and television. That of course, raises the question of what people's basic needs are and whether the stuff we want really makes us happy.

Secondly, you can define poverty as the difference in the satisfaction of basic needs between the richest and the poorest folk. Maybe it can be argued that because of mass production, popular products are available to larger parts of the population than that was the case previously.

Thirdly, one can define poverty as a matter of who has the power, who has the most influence. Television, for example, would mostly be a medium that reduces the influence of the common man and increases the influence of the elites - because they can talk to so many people in such little time. On the other hand, the internet allows anybody to reach a large audience. A successful blogger would, by that logic, then become rich, rather than poor. Maybe he wasn't ever really poor when he had the chance to become rich.

It's a difficult question to answer.
