To be civilly disabled is the continued prohibitions and conditions resulting of a felony conviction, that remain in effect after any Judicial penalties have been fulfilled.

The four most common disabilities are the loss of the right to vote, the loss of the right to bear arms, the loss of the ability to serve on a jury, and the loss of the ability to hold public office.

There are very few provisions for overcoming or remedying these disabilities, which are de facto life sentences.
