As of October 2023, there is no state in the United States that officially does not recognize Labor Day as a holiday. However, some jurisdictions may not observe it as a public holiday, and certain businesses or organizations might choose to remain open. Labor Day is generally recognized nationwide, celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor the American labor movement and the contributions of workers.
It is the violent protest by the workers union(s) to get their demands fulfilled at any cost by the management.
Striking is more of reason and protesting is going against something you believe in.

Child labor is found in all nations - including the USA, CAnada, and UK. In developed nations, it is discouraged and closely regulated. In poor nations, less so.
