There are lots of straight role models for them to imitate. Gay teenagers grow up with nothing like that. They have to keep it secret from their families till they get stronger by themselves. It's very difficult for them to find movies and books with good gay characters. A lot of gay 'role models' on television are stereotypes, mincing and prancing. This does not help young gays. So some gays have to spend a lot of time sorting themselves out. They don't always have trusted friends that they can talk to. It's best if they're not called names and bullied. That doesn't help. Let's hope they grow into strong good people that can be good role models for gays coming after them.
