By her own admission she said that when she was asked to give up her seat on the bus that historical day, she felt so tired and just couldn't be bothered to stand, an actual historical "stand" was the last thing on her mind. she wanted to save her right
Rosa Parks didn't have to go anywhere to study about racism she lived it. If you know the story about the day she refused to change her seat on the bus then you know that was racism that she stood up to. The south of the 1950's was a society that sanctioned discrimination and racism. All of her life she had been treated as a second class citizen and she finally took a stand.
The Rosa Parks bus boycott sparked off a revolution in the anti-racism movement. She inspired many coloured people to stand up for their rights which has improved increasingly since. Hope this helped.
The way Rosa Parks stopped segregation... was when she refused to stand up from her bus sea t when a white man wished to sit down there.
dec. 1955
Rosa Parks stand up for what she believed in ,when she was in the bus
Back then, racism was at large, so there was places like white only and black only bars, buses ect. When a white person entered a bus, black people were expected to give up their seat, but Rosa Parks refused, starting a fight for justice.
Smarts and courage to stand up for herself.
to stand up to her self
