Progress often leads to pollution because advancements in industrialization, transportation, and agriculture typically rely on the extraction and consumption of Natural Resources, which can generate waste and emissions. As economies grow and populations increase, the demand for energy and goods rises, resulting in higher levels of pollutants released into the environment. Additionally, technological progress may prioritize efficiency and productivity over environmental sustainability, further exacerbating pollution issues. Thus, without adequate measures to mitigate its impact, progress can inadvertently contribute to environmental degradation.
No. Construction equipment used to build the station will burn fossil fuels and produce some pollution. When the station is complete it will produce pollution free electricity. The station will require some electric power from the grid to operate, and some of that electricity may be produced by coal powered plants which do produce pollution, but the geothermal power station will not produce pollution.
china
They do not. They produce natural waste, which is far different then real pollution.
most do
Yes.
they do not produce pollution
no
No
"Progress Without Pollution" was the theme of the Expo in Spokane.
They by themselves produce little or no pollution. The pollution comes from the manufacture of the blackboard and book. There may be chemicals in the blackboard and book that can leech out, but it is probably extremely small. I work in a paper mill and we monitor the pollution we produce from the paper making process very closely and we try very hard to minimize that pollution.
True or false? Factories produce less air pollution than motor vehicles?
none.
