Louis Sullivan is so popular because he was such an awesome architect. His nickname was the father of skyscrapers. Sullivan was believed to have been the creator to modern skyscrapers. Another reason Sullivan is so popular is because he used a lot of the steel high rise. In 1890 Sullivan was one of 10 architects to be chosen to build the major white city. Louis Sullivan had also built the transportation building in Chicago. That is why Louis Sullivan was such a popular architect.
