Chinampas is a special word sort of for "floating gardens." The chinampas were created because of space. The Aztecs didn't have enough room for farmland, so they created the" floating gardens" in a river near the market. Everyday they would pull the rope to pull it in and pick the grown crops. After picking them they would put more seeds in and put it back out to float. They never had to water the chinampas because lived on the water.

They sacrificed by cutting the body open with either bone or obsidian and taking out the heart.

The Aztecs died out because of Hernando who came in with over 500 soldiers and killed off the race of the Aztecs

no because they did't have any animals to carry such things as carridges and plus the didn't have any wheeled veichles only on little children pull toys because they took allot of pride in their stength they thought i t was lazy

they placed people on a rock and then tied there leg and arms to the ground then used a knive to cut out their hearts afterward they choped their head of and roled the dead body and the head down the Aztec step pyramid.

Human sacrifice played a significant role in the Aztec culture. It was believed that life itself sprung from dead bodies, because their world was believed to be created by the sacrifice of the gods.

When Hernan Cortes invaded Tenochtitlan and the Aztec empire, the Aztecs were being ruled by Moctezuma II. Moctezuma was a very religious men so he thought that Cortes was the god Quetzalcoatl coming back to his land. Before the Spanish conquistador came to Mexico, about 9 omens (weird signs or things that happened that meant that a big change was coming) appeared, so Moctezuma thought that those omens meant that Quetzalcoatl was coming back.

Later Hernan Cortes used this as an advantage to conquer the Aztec empire.

One of their rules was that if the emperor was out everyone had to look down at the ground, and lay out their cloaks for the emperor to walk over.

She was the sky queen. The king ruled the sun. The moon goddess got between them and the spilt up. The queen was ferrous, so she had a crystal skull that would please the sun so much he would bring the world endless light. Light the world a flame. But I don't know their names.

Well personally i don't think it looks the way it was supposed to but the Aztecs thought it looked like an eagle eating a snake and sitting on a tree branch.

Edit- That is not what the land looked like, the first Aztec people were looking for an eagle that was holding a snake in it's talons and sitting on a cactus. When they found that they knew that they were supposed to stay in the land where they found the sign.

From the day a baby was born, his or her fate was controlled by the gods. The baby was brought to the priest to find out its fate. Would it live or die? Once that was determined, the baby began to learn hard work. Boys were taught to be good warriors and girls were taught to take care of the home.

The rich boys attended school from the age of 12. They went for three years to train to be a warrior, to learn the Aztec traditions and to learn about the Aztec calendar. Boys from common families also went to school to learn how to use and make weapons, to learn how to farm the land and to learn about the Aztec religion. All boys and girls learned the traditional songs and dances of the ancient Aztecs.
