Is Barns Mill Capital Group and Barns Mill Capital Funding Group a scam?

DO not do business with this Company (Barns Mill Capital Financial Group.). Located in Ontario Canada. My Son was approved for a loan. I (his mom) sent the $2000.00 by Wester Union which they said was Insurance and he would get that back if he made his 1st 5 payments on time. Then once they got our money they no longer will talk to us. They had said once they got the Insurance payment the money would post in his checking account that day. Well 5 days now no money and they will no take our calls. They are good at what they do. They faxed my Son loan papers to sign and the whole nine yards. They even emailed me a copy of some loan papers with my son's name on them and a Certificate of incorporation from the Cananda BBB. Which I have searched this company on the BBB website and there is no such Company registered with them. I guess now all we can do is hope they didn't really get the loan money and then it will be on my sons credit report and we will have to go through getting it all fixed. But whatever it takes we will do to stop these people from stealing from other people. Please do not do business with these people. They are really good at what they do: LIE.

Is dividend paying term life insurance by pamela yellen too good to be true?

Answer 1:

Yes, it is too good to be true. Life Insurance is as important as your house. Please see a reputable and known company. State Farm, Prudential (the real one!) or All State.

Answer 2:

There is no such thing as dividend paying TERM life insurance. In her book, Bank On Yourself, Pamela Yellen discusses dividend-paying WHOLE life insurance.

The cash value of these policies grows in value by a guaranteed and pre-set amount -- every single year -- in both good times AND bad.

In addition, you have the potential to receive dividends, which, while not guaranteed, have been paid by some companies every year for more than 100 years.

Unlike stocks, real estate, and other traditional investments, both your annual guaranteed cash value increases and any dividends you may receive are locked in, once credited to your policy.

Bank On Yourself revolves around companies that are owned by policy owners, not stockholders. The dividends issued by these companies are credited to the policy owners, rather than stock holders.

The growth in these policies is not only guaranteed, it's exponential. That means that the growth curve of both the cash value and the death benefit steepens every year you have the policy, simply because you stick with it. And no luck, skill, or guesswork is required to make that happen.

Unlike term life insurance, which only offers a death benefit, whole life also has many "living benefits." The Bank On Yourself concept shows you how to maximize these living benefits, for achieving financial security and a predictable income in retirement, and for becoming your own source of financing, so you can reduce or eliminate the control banks and financial institutions have over you.
