I believe you may be referring to a "Touch Pad" since the inspiron is a laptop. You would need to go into the start menu, then control panel and then there is usually a setting for mouse or touchpad, you should be able to activate it there.

I must say that it depends what YOU are looking for.

For example, a tablet will suit you if you are the person for just browsing the internet, replying to emails and on the occasion, playing a few games (which is available on the app store or play store on a tablet).

If you are the person who sends out formal emails (which would require the assistance of other programmes), does many word processes, a lot of on-line or computer work then I would recommend a laptop.

It also depends on how portable you want things, do you want to be able to slip it in your back pocket or do you want a more formal, bulky product.

I have a tablet but I would say both because some games can be played on one but some can't on the other. My tablet however can be an alternative to the mouse so it would combine both in a way.

There are two ways you can save images with a Lenovo tablet. Depending on the model, you may be able to just long click on the image and a menu will pop up with the option to save the image. If that doesn't work, there are apps that can be downloaded to help save the images.
