Who do Sikhs do when they worship?
Sikhs worship in a Gurdwara, where they gather to listen to the recitation and singing of hymns from the Guru Granth Sahib, their holy scripture. Worship often includes communal prayers, singing of kirtan, and meditation on God's name. Sikhs emphasize equality and community service, so they also partake in the langar, a communal meal served to all attendees, regardless of background. Are people with surname SUMAN schedule caste?
In India, surnames are not necessarily indicative of one's caste. While some surnames may be more commonly associated with certain castes, it is not a definitive factor. It is important to recognize individuals based on their individual identities and not make assumptions based on their surnames.
Why do nihangs cut a goats head off?
Nihang Singhs eat jhatka meat because of their traditions. The guru allowed this tradition of jhatka to be practiced within his army and by his soldiers; it wasn't for civilians to eat. Maharaj said to them that if need be you may jhatka and eat it, not just goats and chickens ut any animal you may find in the jungle. The nihang singhs of today still folow this tradition. When performing jhatka on a goat first the goat is bathed then japji sahib and chandi di vaar are read. One singh stands by the head of the goat and upon the final lines of chandi di vaar being read 'those who sing this divine ballad will be liberated from the realm of life and death', at this moment the goat is decapitated with one blow and the soul of the goat is liberated. The goat itself lowers it head to receive salvation.

Vaisakhi is the day of celebrations of new crops and new season.
Sikhs believe that God is present everywhere therefore there is no such particular way to pray to God. Although there are some particular prayers that need to be performed three times a day. Nitnem in the morning, Rehras in the evening and Sohila at night. Apart from these, there is a prayer known as ardaas.
However, Sikhs believe that prayer can be informal also. Any way to remember God and thank him for the blessings is a prayer in itself. People who don't perform the particular prayers can pray to God by just meditating on his name. Sikh Gurus have given a lot of importance to meditating on God's name (NAAM).
Therefore, any way to remember God and thank him for his kindness and blessings is a prayer.

Where is the Golden Temple Conscious Cookery restaurant?
There was a "golden temple of conscious cookery" restaurant in west Hollywood, on third street, maybe on the south west corner of third and crescent heights or third and fairfax. that would have been between 1975 and the early 80's. it was run by people who wore white turbans as i recall. their piece de resistance was the cornmeal and millet cornbread. it was heavenly served in huge square chunks with sweet butter. can't seem to find the recipe anywhere, tho there seems to be a cookbook wherein it might be detailed. I've also seen something about a d.c. restaurant. don't know about that one.
