What is the freezing point of turpentine?

The freezing point of turpentine is around -35 to -15 degrees Celsius.

What is -18 degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit?

-18 degrees Celsius is equivalent to 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

How do you convert 240 kelvin to celsius?

To convert Kelvin to Celsius, you simply subtract 273.15 from the Kelvin temperature. In this case, 240 Kelvin - 273.15 = -33.15 degrees Celsius.

What is 114 degrees Fahrenheit in Celsius?

114 F = 45.56 C
Conversion formula: [°C] = ([°F] − 32) * 5 ⁄ 9 = (114 - 32) * 5 / 9 = 45.5 °C

What is 550 degrees Fahrenheit in Celsius?

550 degrees Fahrenheit is equal to 287.78 degrees Celsius. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the formula: (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9 = Celsius.

Cuanto es 35 grados celsius?

35 degrees Celsius is 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is water boils at 212 degrees F chemical or physical?

The boiling of water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit is a physical change. This change occurs when water transitions from a liquid state to a gaseous state without altering its chemical composition.

The average temperature of the sun is degrees Celsius?

Is the boiling point of water hotter in Fahrenheit or celsius?

Water will boil at 100 oC which is equivalent to 212 oF which is equivalent to 373 K.

The temperature is the same, only the units change. A similar question would be which is longer measuring the distance between the Earth and the Sun in miles or kilometres. The answer is the same distance but the unit is different.

What is 102 Fahrenheit in celsius?

38.8°C
Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32)

So

x = (5/9) * (102-32)

x = 38.89 degrees Celsius

What is earths temperature range?

The range of Earth's surface temperatures can vary from as low as -128.6°F (-89.2°C) in Antarctica to as high as 136°F (58°C) in hot desert regions like Death Valley, California. The average global surface temperature is around 59°F (15°C).

How many degrees is 70 Fahrenheit in celsius?

70 degrees Fahrenheit is 21.1 degrees Celsius.

Does Great Britain use celsius or Fahrenheit?

The United Kingdom is officially a metric nation, but retains considerable use of older imperial units. So, Celsius is now the main (and official) system of measurement, but some older people will still find Fahrenheit more familiar.

More specifically:

Officially the UK is metric, so Celsius is used for the purposes of law, regulation, trade and public administration.

The Metereological Office converted weather forecasts to Celsius in 1962. Conversions to Fahrenheit were given at first, but are now rarely given in the broadcast media. One exception is in the newspapers, some of whom occasionally report particularly high summer temperatures in Fahrenheit.

In the kitchen, cooking appliances feature temperature controls in Celsius and have done from the 1970s onwards. Cooking instructions on packagedfood is primarily in Celsius, as are published recipes, although Fahrenheit equivalents are sometimes provided for people using older ovens.

Heating appliances and controls are usually marked in Celsius, except in rare cases such as where an item has been imported from the USA. Thermometers can be bought with dual scales, although Celsius-only versions are seen too; Fahrenheit-only displays are exceptionally rare.

How many degree is -42 degrees celsius on the kelvin scale?

-42 degrees Celsius is equivalent to 231 Kelvin on the Kelvin scale. To convert from Celsius to Kelvin, you add 273.

Acceptable room temperature?

== == The acceptable room temperature varies depending on the following factors: == == * the climate - how different the room will be from the outdoor temperature and how acclimatised people are to this temperature

* the humidity * the clothing worn by those in the room * whether those in the room are sedentary (remaining still) or physically active * the purpose for which the room is used * whether the air in the room is still or moving * whether the people are unwell

A commonly acceptable temperature range is from about 20 to about 25 degrees C.

The most common comfortable temperature to be set on your air conditioner in summer is 24 degrees celsius - this is also the best temperature to conserve energy (It is cool but not too cool).

What is the equivalnet of 41c to f?

-41.8 degrees Fahrenheit ==

Is 278 K equal to 5 degrees C?

It is very close. To be exact, 278.15 K = 5 C

Where will the three scales of temperature meet?

The scales of temperature cannot all meet, as the Kelvin and Celsius scales have the same size degrees but different zero points.

Absolute Zero is 0° Kelvin, and equal to -273.15 °C or -459.67 °F.

Because the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales are offset by 32° at their starting points (freezing point of water), the two scales do have a common numerical point at -40° (minus 40 degrees).

130 degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit?

130 degrees Celsius is equal to 266 degrees Fahrenheit.

1998 1.8t oil temperature?

my experience and common accepted "wisdom" with the 1.8T (mine is 2001 VW) is that normal Temps are 200-250 with 300 being the to high warning particularly with conventional oil and 200 being the low limit for the oil to effectively lubricate and capture dirt/contaminents. Synthetics can survive the higher temps but at that point the engines thermal manaement is not able to keep temps under control. The use of the larger filter on mine coupled with the factory oil cooler I never see higher than 240 and I am highly modded (larger turbo etc)

What are the melting and boiling points of astatine?
