Briefly. If you make a practice of it, you will destroy your catalytic converter. Where on earth did you find leaded gas these days?
The 2002 Acura MDX runs on premium unleaded (required).
The 2010 Acura MDX takes a 26" drivers side, 21" passenger side and a fairly specialized 12" rear wiper that is difficult to find in the stores. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are currently over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.
It usually means that there were errors in displaying a page on the Internet.
The 2007 Acura MDX runs on premium unleaded (required).
This will vary depending on what year Acura MDX you are speaking of. 2001-2006 will require that you buy a factory replacement or buy a refill (just the rubber squeegee). In either case, the factory blade or the refill will come with illustrated instructions.
The newer 2007 and beyond MDX's take a special 12" rear wiper blade for the special rear arm. Your dealer will have them (may be expensive) or you may want to look into "Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blades" that fit these new special arms - you can find them online. (there may be others available too)
The good news is - specialized rear arms do not automatically mean the wiper blade is difficult to change - it just means you need to get the right blade for easy (and successful) installation.
Correct replacement windshield wiper blades are not only correct length, but also correct attachment. Never just buy by length only. Always lookup your vehicle in an application guide at the store or now-a-days you can 'lookup wiper size' online. The key to an easy install is correct size/correct part numbers.
The new replacement wiper will have step-by-step, illustrated instructions for removal and installation. Take your new wiper blade and instructions out to your vehicle and physically get the old and new wipers in your hands and take a look. The instructions will make 100% sense once you're looking and touching them.
Most wiper replacements snap off and on, do not require tools and take approximately 2-15 minutes.
Yes, but your engine will cut back on power. The computer is designed to monitor the octane level and perform accordingly.
I read the book on my Acura Mdx maintenance schedule and it doesn't show anything about changing the fuel filter. I personally wouldn't worry about it unless you are haveing problems. Just go by your book and have the service done as required..

Use exactly the octane fuel that is listed in your owners manual. The use of Premium Fuel in an engine designed to run on Regular is a waste of money and will provide no benefits whatsoever. Not more power and no better mileage. However the use of Regular in an engine designed for Premium will cause Pre-detonation or what is commonly called Pinging. Pinging may cause engine damage so burn Premium fuel if your engine is designed to use it. Some people will swear that burning Premium fuel will increase your mileage and provide more power. This is a myth, that just will not go away and is simply not true. Octane prevents pre-detonation and nothing more. The design of the engine is what produces power not the fuel you use.
around the crank pulley them over to the idler pulley then arounmd a/c pulley up to the alt. pulley then to the p/s pulley to the tentioner. there wasnt that easy
1. Use a wire clothes hanger, bent the end back at about a 1/4" to make a tight V. Stick it in the left side of the left air vent about 2 inches deep and pull (make sure the V is tight enough that you can get the hanger back out!). Be sure to go a few inches in and NOT pull on the air flow direction parts - use the side to pull from. This unsnaps that part of the trim. Repeat on the right side. Then *SLOWLY* use your hands to unsnap the rest of the trim, alternating from the left to right side. Towards the bottom it's fairly thin so be careful. It may not seem like it will unsnap, but it does... Just go slow and brace yourself and the plastic.
2. Once completely loose, disconnect the three cables (hazard, AC, interior light). Now the trim piece is completely removable so put it aside.
3. Unscrew two silver and one black screw from each side of the radio holder (6 screws total).
4. Pull the stereo out about two inches, then look towards the top and unplug any cables. Be careful not to scratch the area around the radio, as metal parts are now sticking out on the sides.
5. Now the whole stereo will come out and can rest on the shifter knob. Again - be careful pulling it out so as not to scratch anything.
