Borderline personality disordered people have rapid mood swings as well, but these are usually different levels of depression and they don't often feel normal.

Resting mood state may not be normal in adhd, so it can be on the elated side or the depressed side and swing from this resting position in either direction.

The important thing that distinguishes the mood swings in adhd from bipolar is not only the length of time in the swing (shorter for adhd) but also that in adhd it is not severe. There may be rapid speech in adhd, with rhyming, talking off the point and singing, but when elated there are no grandiose delusions (the person does not think they are special). in fact they may be showing off, but it will tongue-in-cheek and when questioned at a deeper level, they will admit they are joking and low self-esteem is nearly always present in adhd regardless of the mood.

The other complicating factor in all this, if this wasn't bad enough as it is, is that independent of the adhd, someone with adhd, may also be suffereing with bipolar (about 10% of bipolars) or maybe suffering with borderline personality disorder or even all 3. Depressive episodes may also be superimposed on an adhd background, which will need treatment in their own right with antidepressants.

Actually, I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and have been prescribed Adderall XR as a way to counteract the zombie-like effects I feel from taking my antidepressants. The Adderall gives me the energy and motivation to get up in the morning and be productive, whereas the antidepressants elevate my mood but leave me feeling lazy and lethargic. So yes, Adderall is an effective treatment for my bipolar disorder, when takin in conjunction with other medications. I've heard that takng Adderall alone may cause some bipolars to go into a manic phase, but I personally haven't had that experience.

The typical rule is anything you have done will take two weeks to show in your hair. After the start of your two weeks you begin your 90 days. The only way they can detect longer than 90 days is if you have longer hair...the longer your hair the longer your history. Generally a good estimation of how to gauge your hair is every half inch is equivelent to 30 days. If a hospital notices some form of tamper to your hair, they can opt to pull hair from your arms, legs, underarms or anywhere else you may have hair growing. since these hairs are not cut as often or at all, they will reveal more of your past. if you were to have hair long enough for the test to trace 7 years, it would be dependent on the drugs half life for breaking down on wheather or not it was detectable. technically if you get hair tested, nothing farther than 6 months can be held against you for a job. Probation/parolle...if your dirty in anyway after your release...get your rope soap ready. In your circumstance, it was a one time use of 30mg. At two months later, you should be okay depending on the way your hair grows. if it grows fast and you keep it pretty short...you should pass...if it grows slow and you dont really cut it...id consider buying a wash...you'll pay out the ass for it...probably close to 150 dollars...but it strips everything from your hair folicles...it also includes enough to wash from head to toe...incase the doctor gets a little touchy feely. She told me the ones with the hair protecting chemicals dont work because those seal in nutrients...as well as toxins. first bleach your hair...be sure to get all of it and let it sit for a little longer than you should...but not too much...maybe an extra 5-7 minutes. wash it out and let your hair sit for about aweek if possible...if you dye and bleach in the same day you will do obvious damage to your hair at which point they can test another region of hair or fail you. be sure you dye your hair atleast 3 days before the test back to your natural color. two reasons...a) your hair will be very shiny...abnormally shiny for the first 2 days after dying it. b) you might accidentally get some dye on your skin around your neck or face area...its very difficult to get out and you dont want them to see that or your done for.

I am not an expert in the area, however, I've been breaking out in hives for about 6 years, and it seems to happen in a random, but somewhat related, pattern. I had been break-out free, besides a few episodes, for about a year, and a stressful event occurred that raised my stress, and i broke out almost everyday, however, it seemed to be at its worse when I did not smoke small amounts of medical marijuana consistently through-out the day. It is a chain reaction, because as soon as I would realize it was cold or hot, the attack had already begun in my mind. Any drug that reduced my stress seemed to help, however, the illegal one for my state of TN, marijuana, would be the safest in my opinion, and its schedule, for urticaria that is triggered by stress/anxiety.

I have been searching the web with the same freaking question myself, after enduring 3 months off of adderall. It gets easier to deal with over time, but it's the same feeling of fatigue and disinterest. The worst part is that I, or I guess we, are the first generation to be diagnosed with the ADD/ADHD disorder and then coaxed into taking a drug by the time we're 14 years old. So there's no real research on adderall addiction or withdrawal or anything and no one understands how crappy and hopeless you feel. I don't know when this will end either, but you're not imagining the physical nature of the withdrawal. Good luck and you can do it if you have enough will power. But I think support is important too, and that's pretty hard to find.

There is no such thing as a 150mg Adderall. All Adderall XR doses have the word "Adderall" on them along with the dosage, and they are in a capsule (Either blue or orange) and filled with small beads. Of the IR Adderall I know, the 10mg pills are blue and the 20 and 30mg pills are orange. Both have "AD" written on one side of them. They can be circular or oval shaped. Hope this helps.

I am not a doctor so I cannot confirm the safety but usually the psychotic mess that cause problems for people are maoi inhibitors. You should be in the clear if you don't feel any negative effects, start doses small and see how they work for you
