Alexander "Alex" Rider (born February 13, 1987) is a fictional character. He is the protagonist and title character of the popular Alex Rider series of novels by British author Anthony Horowitz. He is also the protagonist of two story stories written by Horowitz based in the same canon as the series, Secret Weapon and Christmas at Gunpoint. When will Point Blanc come out?
Up until very recently producers were unsure if Point Blanc would be made, because despite being an accomplished and entertaining film, Stormbreaker did not 'storm' the box office. That said, author Anthony Horrowitz has reportedly produced a film script for Point Blanc. Most significantly though is that the movie is registered on revered movie database www.imdb.com as an 'In Development' project with a scheduled release date of 2008. Some people say some time in November!!!

Alex goes undercover as the son of two American CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) agents. Basically, he's mad cause the two agents are lying to him about the real reason they're on the island and he's mad at MI6 for loaning him out to another agency. Anyways, some things happen and take a turn for the worse and Alex saves the day again.
It was a really good book. One of my favorites of the series.
(Other Person): This is not the theme of the story (at least what I have learned as theme). The theme is something like any adventure or mission can be completed with courage and determination. The theme really is supposed to be in someone's own words and thoughts, but this is what I believe it is. Just letting whoever wrote that answer up there know that what they put isn't exactly what I would define as the theme of the story.

Crocodile Tears is the forthcoming eighth novel in the highly successful Alex Rider series by British author Anthony Horowitz, about a young spy. The title was revealed, in code, to be Crocodile Tears. Originally, it was to be called Yassen and focus on the teenage years of Yassen Gregorovich, but Horowitz decided to put that off to the next book in the series.
During an interview with Faheem Shaikh, Anthony Horowitz exclusively revealed an excerpt from the upcoming eighth book.

Join us."He plans to have the eighth book begin with Alex and Sabina on a skiing trip, then return to England, and finally moves to Africa, Kenya, where the second half of the novel will take place. The plot will involve GM crops and international aid. Horowitz has stated that a possible title could be Endurance Point and also stated that he would publish two more books after the eighth, for a total of ten books in the series.
