What happens in chapter 6 of point blank an Alex Rider adventure?
(THIS IS ALSO HOOKED (CHAPTER 3) The 2nd chapter of Anthony Horowitz's "Point Blanc", (pronounced pwa blonc), is named Blue Shadow. I shan't give away too much. In Blue Shadow, Alex picks up a boat named Blue Shadow, (only a small one), with a very modern and accurate crane on a construction site in Putney, London. He already knows that the boat has two highly wanted drug dealers inside. They annoyed him by dealing drugs in packets at his comprehensive, Brookland. He was going to put the boat in the car park of the police station. However, this all changes, when somebody on the ground comes to there senses and tuns off the crane. The crane was strong enough to hold the boat, but the the boats hook could not hold the boats weight. Alex watches as the boat crashes through the roof of a brand new £2 million conference centre just as a speech is being given. The board behind the man giving the speech, is having a slogan projected onto it, "FIGHTING THE WAR AGAINST DRUGS". He is just saying, "...someday soon we hope to announce another breakthrough", when the boat comes crashing through the roof. The home secretary is whisked away, so is the speech giver, none of the crowd are harmed except the drug dealers who will be in hospital for months. Alex is taken to the police station. His special status (MI6 operative) appears on the computer, he is put in a cell. That evening John Crawford, (Crawley), comes for him. He is taken to MI6. MI6 blackmail him again, by saying do this "search and report" mission, or we hand you back over to the police.

Is the novel Point Blanc from the Alex Rider series going to become a movie?
Probably not, as the first movie (Stormbreaker) was a total flop: they spend $40 million making it and made about $23 million out of it. That's not a result those companies like, I guess. Also, Anthony Horowitz (the author of the series) said that 'the movie was a mistake, as the story does not translate well to the big screen'.
So it seems very unlikely there will ever be another Alex Rider-movie, although miracles still exist (so they say).
they already made an alex rider movie in 2006. It was called Stormbreaker and was based on the first book. But you probably didn't know about it because it was mainly in the UK as that's where the author is from. I don't even know if it went into theaters at all here.....

Do you have to read the Alex Rider series in order?
no i read the first and the third and they still made sense. u just have to knowa few of the characters from the first book
you don't have to, but it is recomended. Not reading the first one would leave confusion to all the books.
Not reading the second one would affect knowledge of the fourth book.
Not reading the third would also lead confusion to the fourth, but not much, as only one major event is continued towards it.
Not reading the fourth one... Well... I don't think would affect much (but little details), but IMO the fourth book was the best in the series.
Not reading the fifth would not cause much, but cause character confusion ( three new characters), time confusion, and also how Artemis got his "ability". Other than those three, it wouldn't affect much
And not reading the sixth before the seventh, I don't think that would cause much confusion, except for the fact that it tells you how Artemis knew about fairies.
And by not reading, i meant not reading before that book.
Do you have to read Alex Rider books in order?
Sorta...the Alex Rider series all have the same basic story line in all 9 books: Some criminal plans to do something horrible to the world and Alex, a 14-year-old spy, stops the bad guy and saves the day. However, the fifth book, "Scorpia" has its specific sequel; the ninth book, "Scorpia Rising." So you should probably have read the fifth book to understand the ninth book, passing three other books in doing so. As far as the others, "Stormbreaker" I think should be started first since it starts the whole series, "Point Blank" and "Skeleton Key" I suppose you could get by without reading in order, "Eagle Strike" should come next since it sets up the plot for "Scorpia", then "Scorpia," you don't have to read "Ark Angel," "Snakehead," or "Crocodile Tears" in order, and then finally the last book, "Scorpia Rising" which comes back to "Scorpia." So, in all, no I suppose you don't have to read the whole series in order, but you should read "Stormbreaker," "Eagle Strike," "Scorpia," and "Scorpia Rising" in that order if you're going to read the series at all. But when you'd jump from the first book to the fourth book, there are some brief flashback moments to the books you would've skipped. It's nothing major, but if you get hear a name you've never heard before, it probably was just Alex reflecting on a mission in an earlier book. (But I recommend reading the whole series in order, it's a very good series and the remaining four books you don't have to read in order are just good to read anyway.)
The Alex Rider books, written by Anthony Horowitz, are really good, and have made Anthony Horowitz my favourite author. Following the death of his uncle, Ian, Alex Rider, 14, is forced to work for MI6 in a number of different missions, including having to protect all British children from a lethal virus, infiltrating a French boarding school, stopping a Russian madman setting off a nuclear bomb, and tons of other things. On 1 April 2011, there are 9 books, Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, Ark Angel, Snakehead, Crocodile Tears and Scorpia Rising. I recommend all Anthony Horowitz books to anyone between 8 and 15 years old.
