Where can you get 22 Winchester Auto ammo in 2009?

This ammo has been obsolete for many years. You can occasionally find a box at the local gunshows but the reliability of this very old ammo is questionable. Old West Scrounger had a special run of this ammo made by Aquila (Mexico) about 10 years ago and it sold out quickly. This newer ammo shows up at the gunshows too, so that's what I'd be looking for. Another place that sells it is ammobank.com for $35 a box. I bought some of the Aquila ammo for my personal cartridge collection & a potential purchase of a 1903 Winchester that fell through. I have 9 extra boxes for $15 a box if interested since I now have no use for the ammo.

What if you change the barrel on a blank gun then will it fire real bullets?

This soundsllike one of those 'circumventing authority' questions. I'm assuming you have a blank gun and you want a 'real' one, but you aren't old enough to buy your own (or they are illegal where you live). I'd have to see the weapon, or at least know what it is in order to answer that, but generally speaking the answer is NO. The barrel only delivers the ammo downrange. The CHAMBER is the thing you have to worry about, because that is where the cartridge undergoes its greatest pressure. In a revolver, for instance, the drum that holds the shells acts as the chamber for each shell. The chamber is what is built strong enough to contain the explosion of the powder, not the barrel. The barrel only provides a path for the direction the bullet travels. On several of my weapons I could totally remove the barrel and the weapon would still fire. A blank gun is designed to fire a low-pressure round, and putting a full-pressure round in it would literally cause it to explode when you fired it.

I had a Charter Arms Off-Duty .38 Special, and I couldn't even put +P ammo in it (that's just ammo with a little more powder in it for more oomph). So if a real, legit gun can't even handle extra-power ammo, think about what a blank gun would do. You'll blow your hand off.

Who makes ammo?

Most of the major gun makers.

If a bullet turns 1 revolution in 14 inches what is the angle of the rifling in the barrel?

This question CANNOT be answered until the calibre of the barrel is known. The projectile will describe approx 25.71 degrees per inch (360/14) and until the diameter is known you cant work out the angle.

Why do they call ammo holders magazines?

they call them magazines because the bullets are either stacked on top of each other or loaded end to end. So the magazine itself is like a cover and the bullets are like the pages.

i guess.

What is a 45 lc ammunition?

It's a 45 caliber round that has a rimmed case. The LC stands for long colt. It's popular for cowboy style shooting and also makes a good self defense round. The 45LC is used in revolvers and rifles. The 45ACP is used in auto-loading pistols. They both use the same bullet, just different cases and powder charges.

What colt 45 ammo can be fired in model1 American derringer?

The Model 1 uses standard .45 Colt (not .45 Auto- .45 ACP) and 2.5 inch .410 shotshells. However- this is a fairly small handgun- and the .45 Colt is not a small cartridge. You will likely find recoil very unplesant with standrd .45 Colt ammo. Several companies do load a reduced power "cowboy shooting" version of the .45 Colt, which would reduce some of the kick.
