What is difference between a 9mm caliber bullet and a 380 bullet?
None, the projectile diameter is the same for both - .355. If you are asking about a complete round of ammunition, the 9mm case is 19mm long and the 380 case is 17 mm long. This cartridge is called the ".380 Auto" for use with an automatic pistol. However, the most common 9mm round is the "9mm Lugar". This cartridge has a heavier bullet and a longer case, thus a larger muzzle velocity and energy than the .380 Auto.

If you have done everything right, you will have shot the gun with a bullet.
How many bullets per second can an average machine gun shoot?
anywhere between 3.2 and 12 on a newer machine gun. WW2 weapons such as Browning M3 "grease gun" and Thompson submachine gun could fire at a rate of 5 to 12.5 rounds per Second. The German medium machine gun, MG42, had a rate of 25 rounds per second. The modern US M-60 evloved from this gun. Later guns such as AK-47 and M-16 could fire from 12 to 15 rounds per second.
Can you shoot a 380 caliber bullet from a 9mm handgun?
Wrong! Yes, I fired a 380 round out of my buddies ruger 9mm. Yes, it fired ok. but bent the firing pin. unless you are in all out war, do not do the same! 1 shot only!
*************
Both the 9mm Parabellum and the .380 headspace on the case mouth, since they are rimless catridges. IF a .380 catridge is held by the extractor it MAY fire, but as the previous poster noted, not safely. It may do a lot more damage than just bending a firing pin. Bad headspace can break the slide.
Is 357 sig the same as 357 mag except auto?
No. They both use a different diameter bullet and the case is different. The .357 Sig case is a bottle-necked version of the .40 S&W case. The .357 mag is a longer version of the .38 Special.
Did munition makers force US to enter world war 1?
There was considerable evidence that the reasons the United States entered World War I, and it all appeared to be profit based. A senate committee headed by Senator Gerald Nye of North Dakota found evidence that the United States' banking and munitions industries had been able to pressure Wilson into joining World War I so that they could realize huge profits. When the committee uncovered evidence that lay the conspiracy right at the feet of Woodrow Wilson, who had passed away, the Democrats turned on Nye for what they called impugning the good name and reputation of the late president.

Can you shoot a slug shell out of a springfield 410 944 shotgun?
yes, as long as it is in good condition. I would have it checked by a licensed gunsmith just so you don't have it blow up in your face.
Dan Brown states in the author's note at the beginning of the book that, "All technologies described in the novel exist."
What kind of bullets are used for the fnh pistole modell 27?
Have it examined by a good gunsmith to be sure.
The FNH CZ 27 from WWII uses the .32 ACP cartridge (or 7.65 mm). Use the lower power .32 acp with FMJ (full metal jacket). You do not want to put to much "pressure" on this aging gun...

You may be thinking of pin fire cartridges which literally had a pin protruding from the rear of the casing at 90 degrees to the axis of the case. The hammer dropped on this pin which crushed the primer and ignited the powder. The bullet had to be inserted in the chamber carefully so that the hammer could strike the pin. There were at least pistols and shotguns with this design and possibly low power rifle cartridges. 1850 is about the right time frame.
What is the minimum temperature at which to store bullets?
would'nt go below 40 or above 120 but a constant temp is what really counts. You don't want condensation of any type because of temp changes.
How many bullets does a AK47 hold?
30 in Standard mags
40 in Extended mags
75 in Drum mags
those were the common mags,

Can a 22 magnum shoot 22 long rifle bullets?
NO! The .22 mag case is larger in diameter than the .22 long rifle case thus the chamber of a .22 mag gun is too large for a .22 long rifle bullet. If the bullet does fire, the case will split with unpleasant and innaccurate results.
How do you determine a bullets caliber?
Measure it. Measure it with precision calipers. Better yet, look at an identification chart; a .223 is essentially the same diameter as a .22, but the .223 slug (bullet) is used in high-powered rifles, while the .22 is mainly used in rifles for small game and target practice. Identification is easiest if you have the round (bullet and cartridge case), typically only ballistics experts need to identify bullets alone. Here are some useful links:

Your shotgun was manufactured between 1905 and 1922. Concerning shooting it: You can't know how that gun has been used for the last 85 to 100 years. Imagine placing your face next to 100 year old steel and setting off an explosion on the other side, counting on the steel to hold. If that doesn't frighten you, take the gun to a reputable gunsmith and have him check it out for you. Personally, I would find a pretty wall and use the gun for decoration.
I can tell you that if it can go full-automatic and is in the US, it could cost you 10 years in a federal penitentiary.
Given that Superman ducks when the gun is thrown at him, this shows his "human" side as his reaction is the same as a normal person. I am sure that the first time someone shot at Superman with a pistol, he probably ducked then too. Criminals figure that just because the bullets did not kill Superman, maybe he will be hurt it they throw the whole gun at him. This shows that crime makes people stupid. ANSWER: The bullets are CGI and the gun is real.

If the projectile is fired without the use of an explosive charge, i.e using air, then the weapon would be considered a pellet gun and the projectile a pellet.
A pellet gun has can kill you dependent on several factors. The first factor would be where your shot. If your shot in the head or near a vital organ it could kill you. The second factor would be range. Pellet guns generally have short ranges or effectiveness, So if you were shot at less then 4 feet away with a pellet gun it has a possibility to kill you. The third factor is ammunition type. The gun could shoot a pellet or a bb or an airsoft bb. A traditional bb is a small bore round ball which is shot at low velocities, they can be made from plastic or metal and might have a coating, thesegenerally wont kill anything with ease except at close ranges and in very vital areas(still rare it will kill you though). An airsoft bb is a type of bb that is very light weight and can be found easily in calibers .177 - 6mm. They are meant to be shot at people. The use is similar to paintball just with small objects and armour is used. A pellet is lead, plastic or PBA performance ballistic alloy, this is just a name that Gamo calls that type of pellet) projectile. Pellets range from .177 caliber to 20mm (.50 caliber of the highest that most places will ever sell.). The shape of the head changes the aerodynamic properties of the pellet which can change its purpose. Pellets that are made of lead are the most lethal could possibly kill someone. PBA and plastic ammo doesn't have much accuracy to be use full to kill anything. The heavier a pellet is the more muzzle energy the gun will have. The fourth factor is muzzle energy. Muzzle energy is expressed in 2 measurements. Foot pounds and joules. To give you an idea as to what muzzle energy some things have or what muzzle energy a gun needs to kill something I'll list out some numbers:
1 foot-pound will pierce skin.
To kill a small bird: 3-4 foot pounds
To kill a squirrel 6-8 foot pounds
A .22 long rim fire rifle has about 71 foot pounds of energy.
A non PAL/FAC airgun (one that can be picked up without a licence in Canada has around 3-5 foot pounds of energy.
A .177 caliber airgun with 1000 fps velocity: 15-21 foot pounds (depends on ammo)
A .177 caliber airgun with 1250 fps velocity: 20-30 foot pounds (depends on ammo)
A .50 caliber airgun with around 570 fps: 180 foot pounds
A .50 caliber Machine gun / Sniper: 11, 000 - 14,000 foot pounds
So its all highly dependant on the airgun and ammunition, With your run of the mill 495 fps gun and being shot by accident probably would kill them but could injure them badly. With a high powered air rifle being shot in the head would most likely kill you.
With a high powered air rifle at long range, not likely to kill you but it still has the ability to.
A Message to readers: Even though pellet guns can be lethal they are still great for teaching younger shooter what they need to know, Better you mess up with something weak then with something truly destructive.
It is a munition that's 7.62 mm in diameter by 25 mm in length.
These dimensions refer to a Russian ammunition used for the Tokarev pistol and several Communist-era submachine guns, and to ammo of the same dimensions for the German Mauser pistol. Although the Tokarev ammo will chamber in a Mauser, it should NOT be attempted, as the Russian ammo is loaded much hotter.
Is ammunition still available for World War II Luger handguns?
Yes.
If it is a 9mm caliber Luger, The 9mm Parabellum (also called 9x19 and 9mm Luger) will be available at most guns and ammo dealers. The .30 caliber Luger cartridge is also available, but not everyone stocks it.
