Sure, I've made angel food cake in all kinds of pans. as long as the pans are ungreased and NOT non-stick, you'll be fine. Because the batter has to adhere to the sides of the pan in order to rise, non-stick or greasy surfaces don't work. The only issue you might run into is having trouble removing the cake from the pan after it's cooled.
Line the pan with parchment paper to keep it from leaking; don't grease it, though, or your cake will deflate.
is this a joke? angel food cake is NOT mentioned in the bible. the name was just coined much later in history.
You are supposed to cool the cake upside down. The prongs hold the cake off of the counter so that air can circulate around it.
You turn an Angel Food cake upside down to cool. It should be taller than the sides of the pan and the legs support it and give the heat and moisture a way to escape.
