I think Japanese people take something in their language, and then just directly translates it straight to English with some crappy online translator about 100% of the meaning lost at least.

And then, if they cant pronounce it or it does not sound cool enough, they switch the english word to another English word of similar meaning that sounds better, loosing the another 100% of the actual meaning. Landing on 200% meaning lost in translation.
