The AR-15 is probably the most versatile rifle of all time and it can be used for just about any firearms use.
1) For small game hunting; kind of a waste here. way too much. But if you decide to do it, head shots only and nothing above the horizon.
2) Big game hunting; nothing larger than a whitetail deer. Accurate head or neck shots with larger, heavier bullets.
2) Target shooting; ar 15's are capable of moa accuracy out of the box with proper ammunition.
3) Self defense; not the best but better than nothing.
4) fun factor: no rifle can be more personalized or accesorized, low recoil, fairly inexpensive ammo, and accurate. Just plain fun.
Having given up his rights has nothing to do with the heart. I commend him, however, the 15 year old can be recalled by the mother at any time. You don't say if the children were adopted. If not, you might consider a quardianship for the 15 year old, if mom consents. You are taking a big chance that mom will change her mind. Your Husband unfortunately, has no rights to either child, but a Court may not challege the decision of the 17 year old to live where whe chooses. The fifteen year old is the minor child of the mom. Whether she kicked them out or not.
What caliber rifle is most effective for police use a 223 AR 15 or 45 Beretta Storm?
I perfer anything in 45, but it depends on the situation. The Ar 15 is extreamly easy to use, but has to be kept clean. In Close quarters you run the risk of over-penatration. The 45 has a lot of knockdown power at close range, but fails at longer distance. In My opinion, have both and chose which fits the situation.
Who makes the best ar-15 rifle?
It is often said that the S&W M&P15 is one of the best quality builds. However, I built my own from a stripped lower and parts. I consider my own build to be very reliable and high quality.
